4. Cookie policy

Uxie uses a consent banner to distinguish between technically necessary storage and optional analytics storage.

  • Necessary preference storage: Uxie stores your analytics preference so the site can remember your choice. This storage is necessary for compliance and does not require separate consent.
  • Analytics cookies or similar technologies: Uxie uses PostHog only if you actively accept analytics. If you reject analytics, Uxie does not start PostHog tracking.
  • Withdrawal: you can change your choice at any time via the Cookie Settings control in the footer.

Uxie does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies on this website.

5. Analytics provider

If analytics is enabled, Uxie uses PostHog as its analytics provider. PostHog may process usage data on Uxie's behalf. You must replace this section with the exact vendor details and data processing terms used in production, including:

  • full legal name and address of the PostHog contracting entity
  • whether data is hosted in the EEA or transferred to third countries
  • the transfer mechanism used, if applicable, such as SCCs
  • the retention settings configured in the live PostHog project

This sample reflects the current code path, which uses PostHog for product analytics when a public PostHog key is configured and the visitor accepts analytics.

6. Recipients

Uxie may disclose personal data to service providers that support website hosting, infrastructure, analytics, customer communication, or internal operations, strictly on a need-to-know basis and under appropriate data processing terms where required by law.

Uxie may also disclose data where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or where required by law.

7. International transfers

If Uxie or one of its service providers processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, Uxie will implement an appropriate legal transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, where required.

8. Data subject rights

Subject to the conditions of applicable law, you have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, especially in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. For a Germany-based company, this is typically the supervisory authority responsible for the federal state of the company's registered office: [name and address of the competent authority].

9. Data source and obligation to provide data

Uxie generally receives personal data directly from you. Providing analytics data is voluntary. Providing an email address is necessary if you want Uxie to process a waitlist signup or demo request.

Uxie does not use personal data collected through this website for solely automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
